Artwork by Amanda Kay
Amanda Kay is a talented art student and co-manager of Oakwood Farm. She takes commissioned artwork of most any subject if you send a photograph of what you want done. I will show some examples of her recent works here. You may contact us at the farm or contact her personally at her email: tiggys@fidmail.com We also have prints available of some of her works
This is one of her most recent drawings. It is a pencil sketch of our farrier's wife barrel racing. He commissioned Amanda Kay to draw it from the photograph below for a surprise birthday gift for her. I think she captured Megan and Doc perfectly!
A recent project was doing the face of a beautifully hand crafted Grandfather Clock for a local craftsman. The entire face was done by Amanda Kay including the roman numerals. It is done in ink, pencil, and markers. The beautiful Grandfather clock is made of local Cherry wood and is displayed and for sale at the Artisan's Shop in New Haven, MO. It was hand crafted by George Gottemoeller. Grandfather Clock Face
