Yes, her registered name really is Popsicle! Named for the cold night she was born and deserted by her mother to be taken by another mare that didn't even have a foal. By the time we got her in she was so cold her body temperature had dropped to below 90 degrees. She spent a couple of nights in the basement on a bottle beside the wood furnace before going on to the barn and back to her dam that was finally convinced to raise her. She soon developed into a lovely filly with a very sweet disposition. |

She has beautiful movement and wonderful disposition and will excel at most disciplines and will make an excellent partner and trail mount. Sonna is a lovely Quarter Horse mare that is sound and healthy, has no bad habits and produces excellent foals. She is only being sold as she is not tall enough to fit into our sport horse breeding program. She had a beautiful 2002 Champagne filly, and another Champagne filly in 2003 by Glasseyed Doc, an own son of Doc's prescription. Sonna produced a gorgeous Champagne colt for us for 2004.
